Peter Jetten Signs with Full Tilt Poker
2011 January 09, Donnie Peters
It seems to be the time for big announcements in the poker world. Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke announced their departure from UB not too long ago. The site then added Prahlad Friedman to their team a week later, which caused quite the stir. PokerStars then revealed the identity of Isildur1 as young Swedish player Viktor Blom. Now, it's time for Full Tilt Poker to jump into the mix with the latest announcement.
Peter Jetten has been announced as the latest addition to Full Tilt's team of poker professionals. Our very own Sarah Grant caught up with the newly minted Red Pro just before play began on Day 1b of the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event for an exclusive interview about signing with Full Tilt.

Watch your own poker tells
Most of the time we focus on spotting other peoples poker tells and grinding them down, but don't forget that you most likely have a tell also. Always try and stay aware of what you are doing. If you are in a poker hand, try to do the same thing everytime. Sit down with some friends and see if you guys can spot each others tells and share them. Always stay on top of your game! GOOD LUCK!

The Hat / Head Rub
I saw a guy at the table this weekend who's tell was taking his hat off and running his hand over his head. Everytime he would do this he was STRONG! I might have thought that it was a tell that he was weak, but a few players paid him off and everytime he had a made hand. So watch out for the hat / head rub!

Poker Patience
Last night I played in a home tournament and noticed one of the golden poker rules being broken, PATIENCE! Poker is not a fast game, if you are looking for a quick score, then this game is most likely not for you. You play Texas Holdem to try and rake in 1 big pot an hour. When you feel like your cards are just not coming, step back and remember the PATIENCE RULE!
